In December of 2023, we traveled along the rivers of Germany with friends. The goal was to visit Christmas markets as well as discovering new territory.

We started by spending a few days in Prague, a beautiful city, and enjoyed wonderful chilly weather. We then traveled by bus to meet our river ship. Unfortunately, high water prevented the ship from reaching all the planned ports. That resulted in long bus rides and grumpy tourists, as we visited some of these ports by bus. The final day on the river was Christmas. We left at 8am and spent all day on a bus trip, arriving in Paris after 6pm. It was a long day, but Paris looked great as it was all buffed up for the 2024 Olympics.
