In May, 2022, we took a long road trip to visit the natural wonders of Yellowstone National Park and the Moab, Utah area. We ultimately drove 3300 miles, visiting friends along the way.
Yellowstone was just opening for the season. There was snow on the ground and not all the roads were open. Little did we know that just 2 weeks after our return, the park would be devastated by flooding.
It was our first visit to Moab, where we toured Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park, as well as BLM land, and Dead Horse Point State Park. The unique geography made for a memorable experience - and the temperature was very comfortable.
