In the early spring of 2024, we traveled to South America for what we called the 20/20 tour. It had been 20 years since our first trip to South America, and this was our 20th visit. Often, we've visited remote areas and had experiences on the rough side. But for this celebratory trip, we leaned toward the luxurious.

We visited 3 capitals - Lima, Buenos Aires and Santiago. And, despite having visited the continent so often, we had novel experiences everywhere we visited. That included fine dining in Lima, and cooking classes in Argentina.
