In December of 2015, we traveled on the brand new Viking Star ocean liner, making a circuit from Roma to Barcelona. It was a great opportunity to visit some more remote areas, such as Sicilia and Sardegna. The ruins in Sicilia were extraordinary, and the scenic little village of Valldemosa, Mallorca was stunning.

We left Barcelona very early on Christmas morning, having spent a few extra days in a city we always enjoy.
