In December of 2012, we flew from Miami to Cuba. We wanted to visit the country before the changes we believed that increased capitalism would bring. We also wanted to do an authorized visit ('people to people'), and to visit outside of Havana.

Besides the famed 50s cars, there were many other fascinating sights, as well as many new perspectives on how the embargo warped life on this surprisingly large island.
