A business trip gave us the opportunity to visit Ho Chi Minh City in the spring of 2011. From there, we took a week traveling around Vietnam. It was a fascinating and often beautiful experience, coupled with a lot of very good food.

The real target of our trip was the second leg, visiting the extensive ruins of the Angkor Wat complex. We stayed 5 nights, in the brutal heat of early April. It takes several days to get around to only a small portion of the complex. Each temple has its own architectural style, preservation and history.
