Before our Amazon cruise in November, 2007, we visited a number of the archeological sites in northern Peru. This included the stunning museum where the 'Lord of Sipan' excavation is showcased.

In addition to learning more about ancient Peruvian culture, we were amazed to see how many sites were sitting unexamined. There are certainly more treasures to be discovered in the hillsides.
