We went in search of the Northern Lights near the spring equinox. Our primary destination was Fairbanks, and we took a number of day (night!) trips from there. The weather was beastly frigid, typically about -20F. The warmest we hit was the low single digits. Nonetheless, we lucked out with some amazing lights in the sky.

Unfortunately, the cold meant that we couldn't fully enjoy the World Ice Art Championship display - but it sure didn't melt. And the Fountainhead car museum was an unexpected hightlight.
