In 2007, a business trip brought us to Ireland - our first visit to the Emerald Isle. The weather was fantastic, and we really need to return.

After that, we visited Rome and Umbria with Bill's brother and sister-in-law. Renting a car in Rome was an adventure, but the lovely countryside in Umbria made up for that hair-raising experience. We stayed in the same lovely farmhouse we'd rented a few years before, in the tiny town of Frontignano. With the car, we were able to visit a number of small towns, including the wine festival in Montefalco.
